Following the success of Teknicraft catamarans currently used by various operators in the Gulf of Alaska, the Seldovia Native Association were convinced that a new vessel similar to one of these, the Orca Voyager, would meet their own service requiements perfectly.

This vessel, Kachemak Voyager, provides a passenger and cargo transport service between the communities of Seldovia and Homer in Kachemak Bay, on the Kenai Peninsula, and is well suited to operate in the harsh Alaskan environment.
